Premier League 2023/24: Everton With Deducted Points for Breaching Profitability and Sustainability Rules
The Premier League has officially deducted six points from Everton Football Club for breaching the Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSRs). The club was found to have incurred losses in excess of the allowable £35 million over a three-year period, leading to the penalty.
In a further blow to the Toffees, they were subsequently deducted an additional two points for failing to provide sufficient evidence to support their financial submissions. The club has now been docked a total of eight points, leaving them in 19th place in the league table with just 15 points from 20 matches.
